IT’S THE MIDFIELD

IT’S THE MIDFIELD!

Welcome to today’s (controversial) post. I’ll be discussing our midfield and what there is to improve, in my opinion. Sorry if it’s all a bit over-exaggerated at times but I’m just trying to get my point out there to you guys. I’m going to start this off with a few (bold) statements. Hope you enjoy!

TOTAALVOETBAL – I’m back!

TOTAALVOETBAL – @Frimponged’s blog re-opened

Hey guys, Austin here.
Now, I could write this all over again. But I won’t.

Simply put – I did not have the motivation or the time to write articles on a weekly basis. However, I have much more spare time now so I am able to get the blog going. I did want a fresh start so I went for a name change. 50SOD has now become ‘totaalvoetbal’ (we’ll get to that shortly).

Leaving Arsenal: The Drama

Leaving Arsenal – a drama indeed.

We all know what happened with Robin van Persie and the way he left Arsenal. The RvP-saga was followed by both media and fans (on Twitter) and I’m sure the fans have mixed opinions on the move. In the past we have had similar sagas like this. Remember Adebayor? Nasri? Fabregas? Why did they leave? Ambition, money, fights? Oh, the drama.

Adebayor
Let’s start with Adebuywhore. If you don’t remember who he is (ha ha), he is a striker from Togo who left Arsenal in 2009 to sign for Manchester City ($$$).

Can We Win Trophies: Analysis

Hello and welcome to my first real  blog post. I’m still very new to all this so please leave your feedback in the comments down below. Enjoy!

A new season approaches and there’s an array of excitement and positivism among the Arsenal fans. Am I surprised about that? No, not at all. We have so far signed Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud & Santi Cazorla (and maybe Nuri Sahin *drools*). Every football fan would be excited if their club sign those players. They are 3 quality and experienced internationals and are yet to hit their peak. Bad news is our captain wants to leave but he seems to have no takers (at the moment) and he’s reportedly considering an U-turn. But that aside, Arsenal fans are excited and can’t wait for the new season starts.

However, I’m not here to talk about our new signings. I want to talk about next season and how our team will look like. The big question is are we capable of winning trophies? I like to think our squad is strong enough but I’ll analyse the squad first.
